Gotcha.... I thought they were a little better at keeping their website updated as I haven't been up there in a while.... Stoddard is excellent with keeping their website updated. later Ron

yea i tried Miramar. Actually went there for the test drive. They only had automatics and wouldn't even budge on their prices.

When a was looking to buy mine ,I test drove both Auto and manual .
i decided to go for manual .
At the dealership they had both in stock and I was going to get the Costco price ($1000 over invoice) .
Both model had option and color I did not want so I tried Las Vegas area .
If I remember well Desert Audi had 2 or 3 in stock but at the end we decided to do European delivery .
We may want to check with them or also Rufnak in north LA ,he always have S$ manual .
Good luck

I'd try one of the many OC dealers. Mission Viejo is only ~1 hour drive from SD.

Yea I have a feeling the dealer that you know, Mellow Sparky, is incorrect. My dealer here in San Diego was sure as well and when he gave me the bad news said that just last week he thought they'd be ordering them for a few more weeks as well. I had another dealer about 90 miles from me also give me a good deal so I tried him again and after double-checking also said that he can't order one anymore. Seems like they were all confident in the ability to keep ordering for a least a little while longer but Audi went and stopped it.

I asked about allocations and from what this guy told me there's not a single 6spd out there...just automatics. I guess I could try a few more dealers and see what they say about possible allocations.
Talk to the Internet sales guy Jeff at Hoehn. He put my order in no problem. Miramar and Escondido were a pain in my *** about ordering a car.

Oh. I see you were at Hoehn. That sucks.

It's funny, but the same Audi dealer, Leith Audi, Cary, NC (919-460-3800) with the bad service rap (another post) has a used CPO 2010 S4 with prestige & manual transmission in black for sale. It has 3923 miles for $52,950.00.

Just to update everyone...the deal didn't work out. I was able to find one that was being allocated to another dealer that they could get me, but it would arrive too soon. I currently have my bimmer until September and was hoping to order a car now that would arrive around August. If I went ahead and put a deposit down for the already allocated car I would receive it by June...just too early for me as I'd still be stuck making payments on my BMW for 3 more months while making them on the S4 as well.

If only I had gone to the dealer 3 days earlier it sounds like I could have put in a brand new order, it would have come around August, and I'd be all set. I guess the plan now will be to wait a couple of months for news on the 2011 and maybe, if the money factor's low, I'll pick one of those up.
