True. I have been watching MotorWeek on PBS for ages and do not get Top Gear UK other than through streaming of old seasons on NetFlix. I watch these shows mainly for the cars and I fast forward through all the interviews.

When Tanner speaks there is no emotion or personality. Even when he was cussing out the truck driver who was driving slow, it just sounds flat. Also, his commentary / play-by-play of the Stig driving the track is so flat. Adam who is a stand-up comedian is not funny. They just need people with stronger personalities.

They should have casted Chris Rock, Dennis Leary, and Aston Kucher just to provide contrast. Their budget is probably so small that they can't even afford 2nd rate personalities.
