That is the sound my engine makes. Only 600 miles in the car. I had it for 12 days. It has spent 6 days in the shop so far.

I would seriously push for a replacement vehicle. Take it over the dealer's head if necessary.

I too get the mysterious buzz from the dash. It goes away between 5-30 secs usually. I thought it was just me. I definitely can't reproduce it. Happens about once a month during the winter.

The sound I get is immediately after I start the car. Hear it every morning in the garage, but only if I have the door open--can't hear it with the door closed. Really sounds like a benign buzz that lasts probably a second or less.
