i have the touring suspension with the stock 19's on my car. no rolling is needed and i have not had a single rub in the 5000 miles i have had the car. it keeps the full functionality of the drive select buttons if you have them and just gives a bit of extra firmness, roll resistance and much quicker response. i have to say i love it. i have yet to notice any harshness or bottoming out on my semi-rough roads around my residence. and the lower stance looks sweet also. there are some pics in my pic poster if you wish to check it out
on rough roads, with 18" wheels & 245/40-18 tires?

i cant really say since i have had the suspension on the car since the day i picked it up at the dealer. i had it installed prior to when i took delivery. i would assume it rides slightly firmer than factory setups but cannot say to what extent. i have yet to find it to harsh for my tastes yet and my roads are fairly rough also. i can say its much smoother and yet still tighter than my old b6 s4 and very compareable with my former b7 rs4 in ride comfort with what feels to my somewhat feeble memory as a lot quicker reflexes than either. hope that helps somewhat

On the subject of road roughness, check this out;

"SACRAMENTO – Drivers in California’s major urban areas spend $600 to $756 more per year to operate their vehicles because of the potholes, deficient roadways and poor pavement in the state’s urban communities, according to a new report from TRIP, a national transportation research group.
TRIP found freeways and arterial streets in California urban areas give motorists some of the roughest rides in the nation. San Jose tops the list with 64 percent of its major roadways rated in poor condition, and Los Angeles ranks second, with 63 percent of major roadways rated poor. Other California cities on the national Top 10 list are San Francisco-Oakland (58%), Concord (58%), San Diego (50%) and the Indio-Palm Springs area (47%)."
