Default Stasis/Revo

I emailed the Revo-Technik GM to ask if my current Stasis tune would be updated to the newer Revo tune and also if it could be flashed at the dealer. Here is his response.

Feel free to just let people know that you spoke to the General Manager of Revo Technik, and that the general consensus is that the updates for existing Stasis customers will be available at no charge. Unfortunately, because the original supplier for Stasis did NOT fully "unlock" the ECU, it will need to be R&R'd and shipped to Stasis for the update. Stasis will provide more information on when/how to ship your ECU as soon as it is logistically feasible for everyone.

The upgrade is a Revo 91 file. The old Stasis tune is an APR v1 91 file. Yes, you'll get more power from the upgrade.

I talked to Stasis and was told that if you wanted a Revo tune it would void the warranty they provide.

Well, you wouldn't want a Revo tune, you want the updated Stasis tune that is Revo based, not APR based.

Translation:

We don't tune anything, which is why we brought REVO in house, if we did, why would we have in the first place? APR did the original S4 flash for us, and they have it locked to their tool, and even now you still have to ship to them to flash until they release their software for the new tool they just started shipping. As such, you will have to ship your ECU to us so we can crack it open again and flash over APR's flash you bought from us.
