Has anyone tried Dr.ColorChip paint touch-up system? It looks promising.

Washed the S4 yesterday and found one small stone chip. With no clear bra, more are sure to come. Its time to investigate how to deal with them.....

I've used it and am not impressed. If you think this system will make your paint chips disappear, you will be disappointed. Probably better than just picking up some touch up paint and filling it in with a sable brush. But not that much better. If something seems to be too good to be true, it probably is. Try it, just don't get your expectations too high

It works well on solid darker colors. You should be able to use it with decent results on your red car. Just take your time and apply multiple coats until its a little above level with your clearcoat, then use the included solution to remove the excess and level it out.

I guess it is the best choice of available options. Have you checked out Langka? I have no experiece with Langka. http://www.langka.com/photos.php

If you want to get it perfect, you'll have to pony up with a decent body shop and get it resprayed.

I've had the best luck with Autosharp paint pens. Much easier to use than touchup paint and brush or Langka.
Unfortunately it seems the company that makes them, Autovisuals, recently went out of business. Bummer.

The best result I ever got was by simply using factory touch-up paint. The idea is to apply several layers over a period of time. If you have a steady hand and patience, results should be satisfactory, but if you are looking for perfection, you'll be disappointed.

I was wondering... could you use the factory touch up and smear it like Dr. Colorchip and then use a cloth with thinner to remove the excess?
Seems like it might yield similar results?
