Sunroof won't close

Happened again. Went to open sunroof this time when the temp was about 40 at night and it simply didn't open. Heard a few clicks so thought it might be a fuse. Was going to be bring to the dealer but it wasn't an emergency this time since it didn't open at all versus getting stuck while open. Decided to try again two days later and it opened. This car scares me. I hope the extended warranty due to waterpump issue isn't just powertrain.

In this pic you can see that I had wrapped the tool (which is basically an allen wrench) with felt tape as the clips holding the tool to the fuse panel cover were not sufficiently tight enough to prevent the wrench from making a buzzing rattle when hitting bumps. The rattle sounded as though it was coming from either the tweeter speaker on the A pillar, or the cover for the outside rearview mirror on the drivers door. I also added a little foam pad before reinstalling the fuse panel cover and it's been rattle free since.
