I'm right on the fence...and have ordered the badges so I have them if I get the urge to put them on the car.

I wish Audi made a V6SC badge or something similar.

I took the V6T badges off the sides and the S4 badge off the back. Very clean, stealth look. I don't particularly care who knows I'm driving an S4 and not an A4, but if I did care then I would only care about the people who known enough to tell what model it is by the remaining clues!

My salesman told me that the reason they did not make it V6S was that it was already well badged as an "S" model and that Audi thought that was enough S's. It made no sense to me at the time and still doesn't. The first thing I did after I got home from the dealer was pull those V6T badges off. On my Phantom Black car the carbon fiber Supercharged badges are very subtle. Not sure I would change for the red if they ever do come out. I do think the red would look very nice on the white or gray colors.

Yes, I bet those with an S6 would complain about a lesser (costing) car having that.

S6 has a NA 5.2 V-10. You must be thinking of a 3.0T A6; which costs about the same as an S4.

Nom that anyone who has an S6 would complain that the S4 has an "V6S" badge on it, confusing the weka minded that it might somehow be an S6 with the 6S on the side

Could somebody please get NWS4Guy a cup of coffee over there? I'm having trouble making sense of his posts! Hmmm, maybe he's feeling a little "weka" minded himself!

The reason it is not V6S (for Supercharged) and is V6T (for Forced Indution supposedly) is that putting "6" and "S" on the car would lead the uninformed masses to assum this might be an S6, which is a much higher priced car - leading those who do one an S6 to complain that the badging on of a S4 as "6S" devalues their car and causes confusion.

It wouldn't be called the V6SC (for SuperCharged) as Lexus has the Lexus SC, and you don't want to name or badge similar to competing luxury brands.

Make sense?
