I removed the "V6T" badges today with 6 lb test fishing line.
Scraped the adhesive tape residue with my fingernail.
Removed the residual glue with Goof Off.
Then, installed the new badges.
Even being careful, my fingernails scratched the clear coat.
I polished the scratches with Scratch X and the then waxed with NXT.
Came out fine and all is good but there is that "Oh ****" moment when you first see the scratches.

Here is my initial post that outlines how to de-badge properly to avoid any scratches. A little late now but for future reference ![Big Grin](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Also, post pics. I love it when the V6T badge gets replaced

Wow. That's a serious car wash regimen you have there.
I'd love to be able to do all that to my car.
In retrospect, I should not have used my fingernail. Just the adhesive remover.
