How difficult is it to remove the 3.0T badges? Do they just peel off?

Thia has been covered before - try searching, but the quick answer is to use dental floss to saw them off - cut the adhesive under the badge, then clean up residue with Goof-Off. Do not try to peel them off - lifting at an angle will result in the edges of the V6T damaging the paint.

Super, thanks. I looked at the link before and never saw the "Installation Instructions". I'm not a good looker A.D.D.

I just checked on my order and they aren't scheduled to ship until 8/19

Yup, I skim way too much and need to READ more...

I took the V6T off the fenders tonight. Used a work lamp to provide a little heat then some dental floss and they came right off. Then some WD40 to get the glue off, some Griot's polish to clean up some light scratches and some paint sealant.

I down loaded the templates and am just waiting for my badges.

I was getting gas today and to younger guys were checking out my car and I heard one of them say "It's a V6 turbo". So the V6T badges had to go

Typical of YBH, they are a pain in the *** every time I have tried to work with them. They also won't do any kind of after market install or won't even look at your car if you have aftermarket products.

Their prices are high, they think they are something special when they are a little shop thriving on existing customers with money in our area, and act like they're doing their customers a favor. When in reality all they are going to do is bend you over and tell you to have a coke and a smile. Last time I go to that place ever.
I wouldn't send my worst enemy to YBH. My experience with them was awful. I am usually a really laid back and easy going, but they really ticked me off. Bunch of clowns. They would sell a car out from under their own mother if it meant $.25 cents more!

My dealer agreed to debadge the A6Ts for me and install the Supercharged badges when they arrive. ECS was backordered so I purchased a pair of red badges at Europaparts.

Since I have the magma/black interior and SS inserts I think the red is a better aesthetic match than the CF for me.

They were slightly more expensive than ECS. About $80 shipped for two. Still much better than the $125 per side the dealer quoted.

They claim they are genuine Audi. Maybe I will just install them myself with the template when they arrive.

Lots of great info on this forum. Thanks!
