Default Tire rotation?

It's been awhile since I've had a car that didn't have a staggered setup. Anyone here planning, or already done, tire rotations? What mileage intervals are you doing them at?

You get one for free at your 5K service, so Audi apparently recommends it. I don't really plan to again though maybe at 15K in my garage with my torque wrench, as the dealer will charge after that (no, not covered with AudiCare either).

I didn't realize the 5k service does a tire rotation. My car is actually in the shop today for the 5k service, about to head on down to pick it up.

Dealer said they charge $20 for the rotation, not bad for dealer pricing I think.

That's a deal...my dealer charged $75 for rotation, although my Honda dealer charges $20 to rotate tires on our Honda Pilot....must be more difficult to rotate Audi tires, NOT!!

I rotate mine every 2,500 miles, but I have it easy as I work at an Audi dealership with access to hoists, torque sticks, etc. The key is to do it routinely and at LEAST every 5,000 miles. Helps eliminate odd wear patterns, cupping, etc (assuming the alignment is within spec and tire pressures have been kept up).
