I do not see 2010 S4 listed for this cable. I think you should get a real VAG (VCDS) cable from Ross-Tech. If you don't want to buy one, find someone who has one in your local area to make the changes for you.

It really tells you which tire? Mine (US 2011 S5, TPMS-enabled from the factory) doesn't do that, nor does my wife's 2007 A6. Is this something you can enable in VAG-COM. It would be awesome to know which tire it's complaining about...

Ye, the system definitely identified which tire - if I recall correctly it was on the DIS.

TPMS is on the special order thing for 2012 funny enough
I went with a friend who I recommended the B8 S4 to and when going through the options this came up. Personally I think I'd skip.
Interestingly the 2012 cars should be here in August. No real changes other than $500 tacked on up here in Canada...and the colour/video camera problems due to Japan.
He's ordering an MT6 with no SD and no ADS...so should be pretty damn fast in a straight line. I'll get some B8 vs. B7 vids going.

and very limited colour selection because of the same disaster. Apparently all these companies rely on a very small group of Japanese companies for paint ingredients...and the tsunami has really thrown a wrench in that business.
Pretty weird huh? that's why quartz grey and sprint blue are gonzo.

OK, so i made the swap on 5f ad 10 ch6 from 0 to 1. But i still don't have the hidden menu to turn on the TPMS.....the rest of it works fine...so i can get myself a TPMS error...i assume because it doesn't yet know about it...as i can't get the hidden menu up?? What am i missing here - lol
