That is pretty crazy. I actually tried to measure the power of the B&O yesterday while I was in the car. I was getting my decibel meter to read 90 dB a one point and I think there was something left in the volume but I wasn't about to try :P

Anyone wanna take out their back seats and just drop a couple 18"s?

I did this measurement with the Blinks test tones CD & a Radio Shack SPL meter siting on the center console facing foreward, tone controls set flat. Note, it was not at maximum volume, stock amplifier and the Kicker Comp 10" 8 ohm driver. Added the reference average line at 90dB.

^^ You didn't happen to get the same readings when your system was bone stock?

Yeah, I'd love to see the Kicker Comp 10" 8ohm vs stock B&O... but that response graph is pretty awesome, thanks m444. Does it sound as good as the graph makes it look?

Oh, i just remembered i have an old Radio Shack SPL meter. I just need 9V battery now and hopefully it still works.

On the settings i can select A or C weightings. Which should i select?

Sorry, I got in a hurry & did not get the baseline. Yes it was "C" weighted. Don't use "A" weighted for this.

Try it with B &O DSP focal on the driver.

Yes, it sounds pretty impressive bass, considering it is the stock amp and a single 10" sub add to the rear deck.

The Album "The Yellow Shark" by Frank Zappa has some pretty amazing bass that comes through, especially on the cut "Be-Bop Tango". One can definitely feel the bass on from the S4 B&O system.

I have an SPL meter somewhere so maybe I will do a comparison between stock, the kicker 8 ohm, and the kicker dual 4 ohm.

M444, what did you use for test tones? The only test tones I have are in a codec that is only readable by a few programs and I don't really want to convert all of them. Thanks!
