USB Drives with AMI

Got it!
I reformatted the drive again. Used different freeware, Mini Partition Wizard. Deleted the original partition and then formatted the drive with a Primary Fat32 partition. I've only loaded a few dozen albums so I don't yet know about capacity limits, if any.
I'm going to attempt to create Playlists. The MMI does not automatically index the files as to Album, Artist, Genre, etc., as it does with the Jukebox.

Just keeps getting better and better.
Loaded 150 artists, ? albums, for a total of just under 10,000 songs. No problems. Folder heirarchy is Allmusic-artist-album, but any heirarchy seems to work. The music seems to load faster than it did with the SD card.
Playlists created with the (free) Playlist Creator 3.6.2 work very well. They take a while to load, so initially it looks like they are not recognized. Just give it some time. Maybe 5 minutes. You can put the playlist files on the drive at the highest level, or put them in a "Playlist" folder so they are easier for you to find when you go to update them on the PC. Either way, the MMI finds them, eventually.
Thanks for the help.
