Default USP Motorsports | Intake System w/ Heat Shield For The 3.0T/3.2L - Introductory SALE

USP Motorsports presents | Audi 3.0T/3.2L Intake System w/ Heat Shield

USP is happy to announce its production of a new intake system for the Audi 3.0T and 3.2 Audi B8 S4!.

As part of this announcement we would like to offer special pricing - please enjoy a special pricing of $386.10!!!

After a lengthy R&D process USP Motorsports is pleased to announce our complete Intake System with heat shield for the Audi B8 platform. Our system is constructed completely out of aluminum. Don’t be fooled by other intakes on the market which are constructed out of mild steel. Aluminum is not only lighter than mild steel but offers superior heat dissipation which results in a cooler intake air temperature.

The factory intake system runs a 3" diameter pipe. The USP Motorsports system features a 3" to 3.5" to 4" piping design which is proven to increase air flow through a venturi effect.*Air enters through the 4” diameter filter and increases exponentially in velocity as the piping transitions from 4” to 3.5” and finally to 3”, entering the throttle body. The system also includes an aluminum heat shield to protect intake air from engine bay heat. As a result your engine receives lower intake air temperatures.

Product Features:
  • All aluminum construction
  • 4" Filter - 4" to 3 1/2" to 3" pipe for maximum air flow
  • Heat Shield to protect intake air from engine heat
  • Factory piping only reaches a maximum of 3"
  • Powder Coated texturized black for an OEM look
  • Made in the USA
  • Limited Lifetime Warranty (excluding filter)

Applications:
  • Audi B8/B8.5 S4 3.0T
  • Audi B8/B8.5 S5 3.0T
  • Audi B8/B8.5 Q5 3.0T
  • Audi B8/B8.5 A4 3.2L
  • Audi B8/B8.5 A5 3.2L
  • Audi B8/B8.5 Q5 3.2L

How does this compare to the APR Stage I and II intakes?

I like it... Any actual testing for performance or could you test vs stock with a vagcom cable for air mass values(345)?

Very curious about the tapered effect and it's impact on flow... seems the intake sits a little lower than the roc euro or my custom... Sheild is also aluminum along with the pipe?

Run a group buy with a decent discount and you'll sell a ton...

We currently do not have a comparison chart between both intakes.

Shortly we will be releasing MAF logs for the intake based off MAP and VE.

It's an open element vs using a box... numbers have proven the open elements to perform better... this one is different from the roc euro and injen in that the pipe is larger and tapers down... Need #'s to see how it works... hopefully they can accomadate...

Very interested! Do you have the DA while testing? pipe and shield are aluminum, correct? just want to make sure... fyi... header wrap does wonders on reducing the heat...

Gents,

Here is the dyno graph that shows horse power gains compared to stock.

I will also be updating the first post for future visitors.

Thanks,

Thanks! This is Fonzie's old car your using, correct? Stage II with test pipes and catback... Anyway, is the competitor intake an open element or closed? Also, what about the vag com logs? More interested in those vs dyno's, sorry... Looks promising and I may try...
