What VCDS mods have you done?
There are plenty out there and based on my past experiences and after sifting through the many excellent posts listing them all these are my selections:
1) Disable Seatbelt Chime
2) Enable Remote Operation Windows and Sunroof
I have had this all the way back to my B5 S4. Glad to see it is still available.
3) Adjust Consumption in DIS
A must for anyone who likes to track mpg. (Set to 105 so far may tune more at next fillup.)
4) Enable Automatic Gear selection shown in DIS
Shocked Audi removed this since my A6 had it but I guess I can understand why since the enthusiasts are the minority.
5) Disable NAV warning while entering address at speed
Remember the warning you used to get on older Audis every time you started the car?
6) Enable Lap Timer & Oil Temp.
Did this just for the oil temp display.
And it appears (at least on my 2012) that a couple were already enabled by default:
Enable DRL Selectable via MMI
Enable DIS with Efficiency Program for MY2010+ (Not a complete Program without the Start/Stop System)

Hi, good options above--I'll be pursuing some of those too.
You should be able to enable, disable DRL LEDs in MMI without a cable, but with the cable you can specify exactly which lights you want on or off in DRL mode. You can also set the brightness of the LEDs (just full or dim though and not a percentage between 1 and 100?). I'm hoping to make changes like this in parking light mode. You can also shut off the LED 'wink' when signaling in DRL mode.
Beyond that, I want to remove the after wipe when using washer fluid.
Just ordered the cable for delivery tomorrow and software is installed. Can't wait to try out a few of these!

Yup, I've seen the full list. I sort of like the 'wink'. It emphasizes the fact that I am turning beyond the standard blinker.

Enable Automatic Gear selection shown in DIS
On mine I get the
"This is an uninitialized control module; a valid WorkShop Code/Importer Number/Equipment Number must be specified. Would you like VAG-Com to use default values of 12345/123/12345?"
Tried the default & 00000 those do not work...
Anyone got around this? Or have any ideas?
Thanks
Paul
