Vibration problems

Guys on the S5/A5 and A4 forums have been complaining about vibration problems on their vehicles and I was wondering if any of you guys have had any similiar problems?

If you read the thread you linked, you'll see that Audi has discovered the problem that was causing the vibration issues, or at least they're fairly sure that they have. I don't think that they consider it important enough to do a recall, but they do offer the fix to customers who complain. (Several people have reported that the dealers insit on tire balancing first before going to replacing the parts.) As someone notes in the thread, no car built since the end of last year (and maybe last fall) should have the issue, so it shouldn't affect any 2010s and, thus, your car.
Like any car, one has to expect more issues early in a platform until the bugs are ironed out. (The 2009 A4 actually has very few issues so far compared to what reports say about the first B6s.) The S4 should benefit from B8 fixes and lessons learned from the 2009 A4.

There have definitely been some 2010 B8s that still had the old control arms, so it is not a guarantee that a 2010 model won't have the vibration. It's likely only the earliest build's of the 2010 model year, but nobody has identified a specific date when they changed over.
