Anyone know a really good vinyl wrapper in the NY area? I was talking to my tint guy he says the only vinyl he does is carbon fiber cause it is made for exterior applications. He said the flat or gloss blacks are not and that it will peel or fade within a year if its not exterior purpose built.

im thinking of doing this too. a local expert quoted me $2400 for it in flat black. let me know if you do it, id like to chat with you about it.

I wonder about someone in the Toronto area.......btw, anyone know if you can apply a clear matte finish (wnat to keep my original Ibis colour)?

I've never priced it, but $2400 for a full car wrap doesn't seem that excessive to me, if it's a quality job. A full frontal clear bra costs substantially more than half that, at least everywhere I talked to around here.

+1 For a vinyl wrap for your whole car, I'd say that $3000 sounds about right for a quality job.

Wrap whole car is possible (*Or just panel you want)

Matte vinyl in any color I assume, and clear Matte to retain original color.

Or just do what I am doing and have them strip the car to a rolling chassis and remove all clear coat and have it re-sprayed in Matte... <---Muh muh muh...

You are actually getting the clear coat stripped? I am actually dropping my car off at Pfaff this Thursday to get my AWE exhaust installed and H&R springs as well.....may have to discuss
