Default Wax/Polish of Choice??

Hey Guys...

Was wondering what type of waxes/ polishes you guys are using on your Audi?

I'm using a german wax called P21S (here is a short description)

http://www.autopia-carcare.com/p21-127.html

I've been pretty impressed with it so far. I've waxed the S4 twice since I took delivery about 5 weeks ago. It looks fantastic and this was does not leave any residue on rubber or plastics.

But I'm always looking for something better and was wondering what you guys are using.

I'm considering trying some Zymol. I've heard good things about Zaino, DODO Juice Supernatural and then there are also the products from the quality volume providers like Meguiars and Mothers.

So what do you think?? There has to be someone smarter than I am out there when it comes to paint care.

Thanks

P21S makes some great products. As for a polish I prefer Menzerna and for a wax I have been using Swissvax products.

I used to use P21S and while it gives great results, it doesn't last very long.

1Z makes some good stuff - Glanz is great. Also, Victoria Wax (red) yields excellent results if you like P21S and it lasts longer.

Check out the detail forum.

I really like Menzerna products. Note these are not for novice users, and they are certainly not the easiest to use. Ideally you have a PC with these.

If you want simple yet good quality, I recommend Zaino.

BTW, these are quick, spray-on waxes.

Polish really depends on your goal -
New car prep or jeweling the paint - Menzerna 085rd with a finishing pad on a DA orbital
Swirl/scratch correction - Wolfgang's total swirl remover with a Lake Country tangerine hydrotech pad

Sealants - Wolgang's 3.0 sealant although I may try the new DP poly sealant next week

Wax - Wolgang's Fuzion looks incredible on my Phantom black. The fleck was impressive. Very easy to apply but not cheap. Mother favorite is Dodo Juice supernatural.

Other favorite car care products - ONR with a grout sponge for a nice wash

Klasse All-In-One. German synthetic wax that lasts for a couple months. No residue on trim, slight polish so I never have to worry about using a clay bar.

I used the P21s on my old M3 and my Ducati, both of which werent used often and stayed in the garage. That wax is great for using at shows but not for daily drivers.

For my DD's, I usually start with 2 coats of Liquid Glass sealant about a week apart, then I use Zymol every 6 months thereafter.

Ive been asked my times how car my shines so bright under so much dirt lol. This typically happens when I dont have a chance to wash it often, especially in the winter since I only hand wash my cars.
