You're better off going to a shop that does "performance alignments" and they should charge anywhere from $75-$100 for a 4 wheel alignment. However, might be a good idea when its time for you to get new tires.

Alignment tech said my alignment was pretty decent from the factory... However, i'm sure every car is different from the factory.
Am I missing something... This alignment report says to me that your cars' alignment was well within spec from the factory. Did the tech set the left side toe closer to the edge of the spec for a reason? The rest of the differences you would see ( initial V final) are the same if you simply back the car off the rack then drive it on again and remeasure. Doesn't look like anything needed to be adjusted.

I wanted a more aggressive alignment than what the car came with...

I got slightly negative on front tow to make steering more responsive. Front camber cannot be adjusted.

On rears, got more negative camber dialed in.

EDIT: I started a new thread up to discuss this to not hijack this one. Please take discussion of PSI discrepancy over here:
https://www.audiworld.com/forums/sho....php?t=2800088

-------------------------

About inflation pressure. My manual (2011 S4) has a table on page 279 that shows for a normal load (3 passengers) on 18" wheels it's 39 psi front and 35 psi back. A full load calls for 41 psi front and back.

BUT the sticker on the driver's side B pillar just says 41 psi front and back. No statement about load. No 39/35.

How should we resolve this discrepancy? Well, on that same page of the manual it says if the tire pressures in the manual don't agree with the B pillar, the B pillar always overrides.

So then, on 18" wheels it's 41 psi front and back.

I've tried 41 psi for a couple of weeks and found it to be a bit harsh, especially over expansion joints. I'm also worried about uneven tire wear in the middle of the tires. I dropped it back to 39/35 this morning and it feels a whole lot better.

What to do? What psi are people getting from the factory?

I've been running 41psi with no issues. 15K miles total, alternating summer and winter tires.

Also not really sure what the expected life time of the summer performance tires should be. My other car (corvette) only gets 20-25K miles on a set of tires. I've been looking a Porsches recently and the dealer thought I should expect even less than that. The wear pattern that was originally described still sounds like an over inflation problem.
