Do it yourself? Less than a hour.

18" sports A4. November 2009 I used Mavis for convenience. The P7 summer tires were returned in a heavy plastic bag. They will remount them inexpensively. Balance was OK. Decline the wheel alignment and anything else they try to sell you or repair they say you need.

Just make sure the tire pressure is correct. Reset the TPMS. Check your spare. If you have wheel locks confirm you have the key returned.

You can order on line or print out the on line price and negotiate.

I would have bought wheels if I owned the car.

It is late in the season and inventories may be low. Call ahead.

Very warm in NY. I can't get motivated to put on the winter shoes.

My shoes are on the stock CDN 18" rims. I managed to get a set of tires at cost as my buddy owns a local performance shop. Put them on a little early as the stock summers were down to the wear bars. I went with 225's. I agree for the Yanks the best seems to Tire Rack.

What tire pressure are you using?

Same (plus a nice overall discount from my employer), they did a perfect job in about an hour, bagged my old tires, which I already had a buyer for, drove them to him, profit!

(actually, tirevan is supposed to be here at my house between 3:00 and 5:00 tomorrow, I'll post up how it goes, the price was right at least)

I recently purchased a 2011 S4 and ordered new Pirelli Sottozero tires and O.Z wheels (they were on sale and look like the OEM wheels) from TireRack with 1 major issue. Although they delivered my package in less than 24 hours (literally ordered at 1 p.m and had the winter tire package at 8:30 a.m the next morning), they only shipped 3 tires and had no clue where my 4th package was at. I had to call UPS and TireRack numerous times and still have no answer on where my 4th package is at or when i'll get it.

Hey man, you got 3/4 of your stuff, don't be a whiner!

heh

so Tirevan came right on time, installed and road force balanced all four while I sat in the house and messed around on the internet. Totaly painless, I'll do it again. The guy even cleaned my wheels for free.

Too bad it's only in Philly and D.C., I still think this is an excellent franchising opportunity for the right person.

I just had mine mounted last night. I went with Blizzak LM-60's in 245/40R-18 with Hartmann B7 HRS4 – 252 18x8.00 +47 in Hyperblack. Tucks the wheels in nicely to minimize body spray.
