+1, IMO just wastes washer fluid and they never seemed to really clean the headlights anyway. Guess if you had fresh mud on them it would, but how many times has that been and then why would you have mud on them in the first place?? Oh and I live in an area where there's a lot of salt, never really worked either, salt was always dried on

We don't use a lot of salt here on the Wet Coast, but I can see how the white crap could build up on the lights and hinder output. Does the spray alone remove the salt without some sort of physical assistance (squeegee, hand wipe)?

The spray isn't perfect as there will still be a thin film of salt left over, but it's better than nothing at all. There's been a few times on the highway at night when the headlights lose effectiveness due to salt build-up, and using the spray will assist immensily.
