Approaching 10k miles on a 2010 S4, and for the past 500 miles I've been experiencing a strange noise that is more audible at lower speeds. It's hard to explain, but kind of sounds like a low whine or whirling, like air getting sucked through a small tunnel. The noise seems to dissipate the longer I'm driving. It may also correlate with the freezing temperatures, seems more audible the colder out it is.

Any ideas?

Check the seals around your doors, windows, and sunroof?

Yeah, those were the first things I checked. Sounds like a winding-up/winding-down swoosh coming from the front of the car.
