I tried to order the S5 winter package with the 18" five parallel spoke wheels for my 2011 S4, but the dealer said it won't fit? I thought the S5 had the same offset and hubs as the S4.

OK, offset is different. The dealer parts guy called Audi and stated the 18" S5 rims would not clear the caliper. That doesn't make any sense to me. He said it was an offset issue.
From what I can tell, stock S4 wheels/tires are 255 19x8.5 ET43. So, 255/2 - 43= 84.5mm from hub to tire face.
The S5 19" wheel offset is 32mm. Assuming the 18" wheel offset is the same (or probably larger), then if I ran 245 18x8 I should get 90.5mm from hub to tire face. The distance may be even less if the 18" ET is larger. (245/2-32=90.5)
Some have successfully mounted S5 19" rims on the S4, but they can rub a bit on the fender lip. With the 18" wheel and a 6mm or less movement of the tire face out towards the fender, it does not seem like I would have any problems with the fenders, and certainly not the calipers. Right?

I have s5 wheels on my s4. I just get some rubbing on big dips in the front I think. Can't really tell.
