It looks like it should be illegal and may get you into trouble when you drive out of state. Is that 5% limo tint? Personally, I'd ask them to remove it and redo it in a clear ceramic film with 85% VLT. That'll reject most of the heat without impairing visibility or getting you in trouble.

Pretty sure no state allows it in the laws, however if you put down a clear or very lightly smoked film that is designed to reject only UV/heat, it's not a big deal. The tint laws are for the safety of not only the driver to be able to see, but also for law enforcement, to be able to see the interior of the car and be able to see if someone is holding a weapon.

I have the top portion of my windshield tinted (15% Lumar) as well. That being said, it only goes down to the horizontal line etched into the windshield. I doubt most would notice that it's tinted versus factory.
I wouldn't be able to pass our state inspection with how low you have yours not too mention I could get a ticket from a cop if he/she wanted to really make it an issue.
