18 x 8, +45. Tucked in nicely to keep the crap in the wheel wells and not sprayed down the side of the car.

With 18 X 8 offset +35 the outside of the wheel will be tucked out 2 mm more than with stock 19 X 8.5 offset +43.

With 18 X 8 offset +45 the wheel will be tucked in 8 mm compared to the stock 19 inch

18 X 8 offset +45 is almost identical to stock 18 inch wheels which are 18 X 8 offset +47.

Considering:

245/40R18

235/45R18

225/45R18

245/40R18 and 225/45R18 are the closest in rolling diameter.

My VMR 708 wheels are 18" x 8.5", ET=38mm

When looking at the offset one needs to consider the rim width also.

A lot of the Tirerack wheels are 18" x 8", but a few, like the TRMotorsport MT1 come in; 18" x 8.5" or 18" x 8.0"

Good point on the width of the rim. TRMotorsport MT1's seem to be very light... interesting.
