Thanks for all your help. I think it is best to go with the 18's for the winter and have the separate wheels as well. Since I will have the Ti package, it would be probably be smart to keep them in good shape by not switching tires every 6 months. I probably will wait at least the 1000 miles as well to do any chip work. It seems everyone likes the Awe exhaust better than the Stasis. I am not too worried about the warranty side of things for the exhaust but rather the chip . Besides having Hoffman Audi do the stasis upgrade, who would you recommend in the western mass/ct area to do any of the exhaust upgrades, etc.?? Thanks again.

Hmm, then how did the Blizzaks in 255/35/19 get mounted on my OEM wheels?

Only reason to stick with 19's would be looks and clearance for a BBK. With stock brakes, 18's are going to be less expensive (with more to choose from) and will be a little more forgiving on winter potholes. Going narrower is also beneficial for the deep stuff.

Another vote for 18's.

I went 225 45 Michelin X ice for a little more pothole forgiveness on inexpensive rims from Tire Rack.

Default 18" v 19"

The 18" wheels w/ snows may be a little better for traction when its deep, but when the roads are clear the feel of 19" w/ a high performance snow tire is much better.

I just took delivery of a 2011 A4 2.0 with a sport package, going to Hoffman today to have a complete Stasis Touring package installed, will post on how this turns out. Keeping the stock
18" wheels for snow tires will go with a 225/45/18 snow probably a nokian. On the 06 a4 s line using a michelin pilot alpine 235/40/18, they seem to float a bit in the slop hopefully the 225 will dig in better.

Please let me know. I would love to know how it all turns out with Hoffman as I might let them do some stasis work? What was the whole ordering process like? Who did you deal with? What are you having done and how much are they charging? Thanks. My S4 will not be in until October but maybe I will order some stasis work ahead of time.

So you ordered your car 2 months ago and your expecting an October delivery? Is the TI pkg holding you up, or the dealerships allocations.

It is hard to tell for sure but I believe it is the dealer allocation. At this rate, I would not be surprised that the car arries even later. S4's seem to arrive near on time or late but never early.
