After visiting 3 dealers and 2 others (in northern california), I got the best offer on a 2010 S4 (came in late June) with everything I want -- black/black, nav, auto, sport rear differential, 19". I got it at invoice price, which I guess is not too bad in my area.
I'm switching from a BMW to an Audi. BMW strives for simplicity in the interior. Audi's interior is much more detailed. To my pleasant surprice -- it's extremely user-friendly. Very easy to use -- I started to use the voice control for calls and nav in about 10 minutes (of course, with the voice commands cheat sheet as part of the owner's manual).
I was told that I shouldn't rev it over 5000 rpm or so for the first 3000-5000 miles, which is also what they told me for my bimmer. I guess I'll have to wait a bit...

Congrats.... Pricing you got is very good... Everyone will have different opinions on breakin.... the manual doesn't recomend low rpm's for that many miles I think it says like 600 or so, but I am in the office so I can't look.... I drove mine hard right off the lot and at 1,300 miles it is still running fine! LOL Enjoy the car!

COngrats, just take it through the whole rev range slowly and then let it cycle through an engine break (speed up and let the off the gas and downshift along the way) done that on mine and its 6K miles and running strong as can be. Also did it on my last 3 audi's with no issues

congrats dude, black on black is extra cool
. Vary the RPM,s meaning let it out every now(under 6500 RPM) and then and don't always keep it at a steady speed/RPM for first 1000-1400 miles.
