Default B9.5 CWGD Engine Color

Hi Everyone,

I recently picked up a 2021 S4. Today I noticed (approx. three weeks after getting this car), the area behind the engine cover, consisting of what I believe to be the downpipe and then the surrounding heat shielding, appearing a bit gold in color. Is this something normal? More specifically, is it normal for a vehicle this new? I have seen other B9 S4's in the past with even a dark gold color in this region but I associated that with extensive use and oxidation over time of such pieces upon repeated heat exposure. I apologize if this comes across as very "rookie" like or uneducated, I never experienced this on any of my prior vehicles. Thank you for any insight you can provide

Totally normal, from heat.. Thats the catalytic converter.. Hence the amount of heat shielding in that area
