Again, looks like you have the stock one. Look at the pictures earlier in this thread from the original poster.. One of the pictures has the stock and the enhanced kit resonator in same picture. The enhanced kit is more round, the stock one is more rectangular.

I got the oem "sound enhancing" exhaust when I purchased my 2022 S4, and as others have said I find it a great balance between as it says enhancing the sound, without being too obnoxious or droning. In Canada it is around $1,200.00. Expensive, yes, but for oem integration and again, the sound, worth the money in my mind.

One of the guys at the dealership said that the certification of inspection that lists the CPO (5k miles at time of purchase) as having the “enhancing resonator kit”, doesn’t qualify as an official document. As the sticker tag is what it was equipped with at the manufacturer. Which makes sense but that certification of inspection would technically be more current than the sticker tag at 0 miles.. anyways, might end up going with it out of pocket since the aftermarket ones tend to be a little much. Unless anyone recommends one.

Is this different from the sport exhaust? I bought a 2021 S4 last year and I ended up getting the sport exhaust option.

Is that what it said on the sticker, or did your dealer add something aftermarket? This was the only exhaust option on the 2021 order guide as a port installed option.

There is a difference in the wording between Canada dnt he U.S. Here ns Canada it is called the "sound enhancing exhaust", which I assume is the same as the U.S resonator, however I think at least again in Canada the 'sorts exhaust" is standard and not the same as the sound enhancing exhaust. However, and this may be nothing, but may be something. IN Canada there are no port installed accessories, so the exhaust is an option that is installed right at the factory, so not sure if it is a different exhaust entirely.

that’s what it said on the sticker and it was an option available in Audi Canada when you build and price

I see on the build page for Audi CA -- $1273 option -- under "Accessories" -- which leads me to believe its the same thing as what the US calls it -- and is a dealer-installed option prior to delivery. Its roughly the same price when converted to USD -- plus -- https://www.audiaccessories.ca/p/Aud...8W0071904.html -- thats the Canadian version and https://parts.audiusa.com/p/Audi_202...8W0071904.html - the US version -- both same part number 8W0071904

Makes sense, RickNY, and yes it can be installed at the dealer, however the one difference between the U,S and Canda if ordered when the car is ordered it is factory installed, my understanding, and I could be wrong is in the U.S it get installed at the port.
