Default Exhaust Tips

Hello everyone. Taking delivery of a 2022 S4 in a few weeks, and knowing from experience how hard it is to keep chrome tips clean (2018 Golf R), has anyone ceramic coated the tips, and if so what product do you use? I find that although I do wipe down the R's tips once a week, I am in Toronto, Canada, and let's just say the city is pretty generous with their salt use, there is still some pitting and build up. Thanks in advance.

Impossible to keep it clean... I have tried Nextgen, Shine Armor, The Last Coat and many more ceramic coatings.
Tips are full of carbon deposit every drive cycle.

In winter, it is the worst. Salt particles sticks to the top of the exhaust tips. Condensation and carbon sticks around of the tips, majority are at the bottom. It shows from the rear.
A WOT pull and you can forget about clean exhaust tips...

In the summer it is slighter better as condensation is less. Though the very fine carbon deposits will form quickly.

Thanks, yes the downside of living where there is cold, snow and salt, was just hoping ceramic coating the tips would at least help during those months to minimize the damage form it all.

I've also tried a bunch of products. None of them prevent immediate carbon buildup. Mostly I use collinite metal wax as it doe a pretty good job of cleaning them back to shiny without much fuss.

P21S Polishing Soap used at each wash makes subsequent clean ups much easier. I've had very good results with this product.
