Lease term question - planning ahead

I should be picking up my S4 sometime next week.. When I did the deal with the dealership at the beginning of December, I was originally going to do a 36/12 lease.. While I'm excited to pick up the car when its ready, the reality is that February is a crappy month to pick up a new car in NY.. The weather isn't particularly agreeable.. I'm thinking about changing the lease term to either 39 months or 42 months so that this new lease ends in either May or August 2021. On a 39 mo lease, the residual (with AC) will drop from 59% to 57%.. The MF also goes up by 0.00020.. For a 42 mo lease, the RV will drop to 55%, and the MF is the same as the 39 and also will drop by 0.00020 from the 36/12.. The net result is that for a 39 month lease, my lease payment ends up going from $647 to $648 and upfront increases by $175 or so (tax). Its a total difference over the course of the lease of $2172 - so those extra 3 months end up costing $724 per month for just those 3 months.. For a 42 month lease, it works out a little better.. Lease payment changes from $647 to $634..Upfront will increase by $275.. That has a total difference over the course of the lease of $3636 -- so the extra 6 months in this case end up costing $606 per month for just those 6 months.
Anyway -- my question was more related to planning for the lease return and the next car.. I figure if I end the lease in May, I'd start shopping sometime in late January or February of 2021 to allow time for a factory order.. I dont think there would be any issues with that timing as far as factory orders.. But if I end the lease in August, I'm looking at starting to shop in late April or May.. When is the latest the factory takes orders for the current model year? I wouldn't want to order a new model year vehicle..
Also - in regards to Audicare -- On a 39 mo lease, I'll have around 33-34K miles when its done.. On a 42, that will be up around 34-36K miles.. Am I looking at any additional maintenance that wont be covered by AC in that scenario?
Thanks!
