Default OEM Cup Holder Insert

Any idea if this will fit the B9 S4? I had this, and an Audi ashtray with a silver 4 rings lid. This held my iPhone 6, and the smart key, so neither were sliding around while driving. They fit in the center console cup holders on my B8.5, and sat almost flush with the console. Passengers aren’t allowed food or drink in my car, and i use the door bottle holder. These ‘completed’ the center console, and looked stock-because they were.

Since I really dont like the cup holders below the HVAC controls, I’d like to get this and a new ashtray cup holder.
Anyone find a solution to the cup holders yet?

So these are what I was referring to. In my B8.5 A5 they fit almost flush with my console. Not sure I’m keeping these, but I’ll give it a few days and see if they bother me sitting 1” above the console, and blocking the led lighting in the cup holder.

The cupholders already have a built in keyholder. Just turn the fob with the buttons facing toward the front of the car and then slip it in between the 2 spring fingers at the front of the cupholder. It's a perfect fit and keeps the fob from banging around.

Any particular reason to put the fob anywhere? I mean it's not like you need to take it out of your pocket to get in the car, nor is it needed to lock the car. And there is keyfob holder by the volume button also.

I hate the cup holders on this car. Apart from a water bottle, nothing fits right.

I hate anything in my pockets-
I also hate the cup holders, and want to cover them somehow—no food or drinks for passengers in my ride!
These looked great on the B8.5-as they sat flush with the console-
But, I’m not sure I’m loving them in this application.

Same. I don't even like having loose change in a pocket.

I don't have strong feelings either way. To me they are just cup holders. They hold my morning coffee just fine and are a convenient place to toss small loose items or my wallet which I also hate having in my pocket.

I don't like driving with things in my pocket either. Phone, wallet, key....it all comes out unless i know I'm getting out in a few minutes.

I use my cupholders, and Ironically Audi is QUITE aware of how much Americans all hate their cupholders. Don't think any of you is special!
Give it up.
That's how Ze Germans designed it, and that's how it's gonna stay.

The only thing that I put in that "key holder" next to the volume ****, is lip-balm. It simply wont work with anything BUT the fob itself, and I like a tether on my fob.

Btw -- did you all know that the cup holder springs act a natural key holder??

Upside down and backwards from the way I do it. If you face the buttons toward the front and put the bottom end in first it will slide all the way in.
