I have 2018 MY S4 with Sports package. Maybe its a sports package thing? The rear calipers aren't exposed like the picture. Mine are covered (can't see the break pad)
What is your actual month/year of manufacture according to the sticker on the door jamb (or is it on the door itself now?) or your PR codes sticker?
I didn't incluide the bar code or the VIN. But it looks like April 2017 ?
Also interested read from above post: - Trunk bag hooks -- reduced from 2 to 1 (I have 1 hook on right side) - Rear fog lights removed (I have rear fog light. Can turn on just below the front fog light control) - Red tail lights were also a different shade of red (Unsure..) - Rear calipers were changed to not include the 'S' cover (I have cover)
- Trunk lights reduced from 2 to 1 (I have 1 LED light in the trunk, left side)
- Alarm motion detection disable button removed from door and incorporated into fob buttons (I have alarm button on remote, unsure about motion sensor) - USB port added to front of console near sunglass tray (I don't have the USB port at the front of the console. Only two in the center armrest...)

The alarm button was located just above the red light if you had it.. I stole this picture from someone else that posted elsewhere on the forum that also happened to have a mfr date of 04/17.. I could have been mistaken about the trunk light and bag hooks -- they may have been intact on MY 2017 (which I believe was Europe only, not in US)
Yeah, that's April 2017, so prior to the May 29, 2017 change date I quoted from the parts catalog. That's why you have the S cover plate; any 06 17 or later build stamps would not have the cover plate. That March to May window is the change over time, so guess they started US MY18 builds early and you got a real early one.
