Good video. I suggest buying Brake Clean and spray it on the inside of the calipers then use a toothbrush to scrub away the dirt and dust that has built up. That keeps the seals clean and the pistons move better. I always use Brake Clean or similar product when doing my own brakes on my cars and motorcycles
so how many miles should the brakes last? I have over 20K miles on my 2018 (mostly freeway, no track or hard driving) should I be thinking of replacing or are they good for much longer?

Really varies on driving style, but I have 28K on original brakes and I’ll be returning it on lease within the next couple of weeks. I had my 30K maintenance done a couple of weeks ago, and if they actually measured them on the inspection report, they showed them as green.
Generally don't worry. It has wear sensor on left-front and right-rear pads. Even when the car gives you brake pad wear warning, you can still drive for many local miles. Wear sensor:
