Is $655 a fair price for replacing rotors on a Mazda6? Midas is trying to charge my gf that much.

I would hope that does include pads, that's why I didn't even mention it. It better.

Default thanks man, appreciate the offer, but she lives in OC! she shouldn't drive on the freeway

with the condition her rotors/pads are in.. i'll come by when the beast is finished though! keep me in the loop!

Default Buy the Rotors and Pads yourself and find a shop that will do the labor

When my gf went to Midas to get her rotors and pads replaced they qouted her double the price of the parts....as soon as she told me the price i called a local import car part store (S&G) and when i asked about the parts the guy told me somebody from midas called asking about the same parts 2 minutes ago.....If your sure the rotors cant be turned and need to be replaced find a local part store and purchase the parts your self...if u dont know/want to do it your self...find a local shop to do it for labor only..... i dont see all 4 rotors and pads on a mazda6 costing more then 250-300 and 125-175(Tops) for labor saving her around $200

stay away from midas. i think they are worse than dealers.
