Nogaro's right. Your thought of having your friend jack up the cost of repairs is only going to cause you to screw yourself. Get more than one estimate from various body shops and then present these and yourself to the PD in a professional manner, not like you did here on the board. I sincerely hope your sled gets fixed and paid for by the PD.
