Proper warm ups have been done relgiously. It could take 10 Min. to warm up to 175 in the winter

Default I know with the older turbo cars, you could expect between 60k-70k out of a turbo normally.
I don't know what the life expectancy is on the newer turbos with the more sophistcated cooling system and not to mention synthetic oil.

Default I don't know that I agree with that at all. There were plenty of people in high school driving old
Audis with turbos well in excess of 100k miles.
