No need for an upper bracket
a foam strip sits on the rear edge of the core so it doesn't grind into the A/C condensor. That picture is from my avant. The setup on my sedan is very similar. Never had a problem on the street or on the track with mounting. This setup has considerably more leverage than a long aluminum bracket.
I've never seen an oil cooler on a race car that wasn't hard mounted. Now if I had used hard line then it'd be a different story.

Re: Yeah I see the brackets as a non issue,
I just didn't know if there would be problem flipping the OC over to get the inlet/outlets on the opposite side.
I didn't think the aux fan was neccesary because I replaced the pulley fan w/a 16" EFK with a 3 way switch. So it seemed like if anything it might be restrictive to air flow with a bigger fan behind it.

Cool man!
There is a chance I might be thrashing on the car down in L.A. Sunday afternoon
My sister's B-day celebration is carrying through the whole weekend so I won't have a chance to get to the car until Sunday. I'll probably have a lot to do in order to have it track-worthy.
I'll be in touch though and hopefully things will go smoothly and I'll be in Bako at a decent hour. You have my cell, right? 661-301-0246

Doubt it...

In my case it was a mechanical fracture of the turbine blade due to harmonics of overspin. This happened twice! (Thanks AOA warranty
My turbo was still able to make stock boost in this condition.
Can cooler oil hurt? Possibly, if not thermostatically controlled properly. I'd get the 220 'stat, personally. It would allow the oil to heat up as designed and provide extra thermal capacity when needed.
Seems like a solid kit and a good mod, why not?
