[check valve]- 078-611-933B.. my 6-speed has this.. but ETKA says its only on automatics??

[check valve]- 078-611-933B.. my 6-speed has this.. but ETKA says its only on automatics??
my check valve has a big crack in it, and is leaking. i went to the dealer today to locate the part and suprisingly the parts guy said that this part is only on automatics? i bought the replacement valve 078-611-933B, can someone confirm this part on the 6-speed? also, the metal clamps.. whats the trick to removing them?
