Does anyone experience a high pitched sound when taking a sharp turn such as a u-turn? It almost sounds like metal against metal and is irritating. Car has 80K kilometres (about 50k miles) on it and is under Audi Assured). Thanks.

check your power steering fluid..you maybe low on it.

Agreed but it may even if you are not low. If I crank my wheel ALL the way, it squeeks.

IIRC it does it only in reverse if the wheel is COMPLETELY cranked while moving.

If you're at full lock, not only will it make that horrible noise, you'll kill your power steering pump. Keep the wheel 1/8 of a turn away from full lock.

i get this noise on agressive turns, but im a little low... havent found what it is yet..
