Mine was a loose wire connection and not the ignitor or control unit.

Default Mine had the same issue, I reset it about twice and now I get a Airbag Ctrl Unit problem
Although my connection does seem loose as well.

I've seen that code on a few cars. Cleared them and they never came back.

I cleared it about a month ago,and the same problem show up today again : (

Sounds like the igniter needs to be replaced then.

Default Had the same thing twice...cleared it with VAG-=COM
Third time took it to the dealer. They claimed Audi requires them to keep records, clear the codes and check the system, and if it happens again, then they will replace it. Hasn't happened again so far. (knock on wood)
