Default 034 density motor mounts or Stern motor mounts or don't bother?

Looking to upgrade the drivetrain a bit and was wondering if upgrading motor mounts makes sense.

Not going to go with the stiffest options.

Is this worth doing?

Thanks,

I have 034 track density motor mounts and street density tranny mounts. I love them and highly recommend them. The car feels rock solid and a thousand time better with them. No additional vibrations. Hell I even took grandma to Costco with no complaints. Just don't get track tranny mounts. Those are the ones that add vibrations.

Thanks,
up grade to either one and you will thanks me later. my car went to 4 set of mount, OEM, OEM RS4, Stasis, then Stasis again, then Stern. When I broke the motor mount, seem like everything else broke after that like my tranny mount, hood got nipple from engine try to jump out, and some other stuff.

Ok, maybe I will go with the track density 034 engine mounts, then the street density 034 trannie mounts.

I have the Apikol blue (not red) rear diff mount on its way.

Except I just found out my car needs it's virtually entire front suspension redone.

Thanks,

I have Track Density 034 Motor and Tranny mounts. HUGE improvement over stock. Slight vibration, but it's not bad.

Shocks included? otherwise the control arms are not that bad of a job at all. Just did mine 2 weeks ago. JHM had the best kit price I found.

Yup. He recommended I go with Bilstein, which I have no problem with.

I've done all this stuff before, but this guy is a suspension specialist so I'm slightly tempted to have him do it.

He wants about $530 for upper CAs, strut, and front lower left CA install.

I really should do this on my own.

Thing is, they normally charge $88 per hour for diagnosis. I'm sure they spent some time on my car diagnosing stuff. I went to pick up my car and had my credit card out to pay for the diagnosis.

He said not to worry, they credit it back on the repair. On my drive home, it occurred to me: how can they credit back something I never paid? And now I feel obligated to get the work done there. I had my card out to pay and had no intention of walking out of there as a free loader, but $500+ is a lot of labor for something that would take me 4-5 hour on a Saturday.

I would just tell them I'm low on cash and cant afford to pay for the labor but buy the parts from them so they get something out of it
