06611 - ESP
STFA extensively - If ESP is disabled by the 06611 along with the ABS - is the EDL disabled as well b/c of ABS?
AND b/f you '00 wise guys respond - no I am not selling my '01 6spd avant for an '00 so I can rid myself of the dreaded ESP.
How is that for extra sensory perception? or perhaps I read too many threads on this issue.

Re: Correct, only at low speeds, the ESP still intervenes.
you can vag and enter the 06611 code and it will disable esp completely along with abs - my questions is does is disable edl also.

edl is a cheap lsd that uses the brakes to convert torque to the non-slipping...
wheel. esp is a yawl sensor that straightens the car out on its own when you don't want it to sometimes - like going in hot to a bumpy corner.
I want to know if the edl is a seperate system or if shutting the esp and abs off in turn shuts the edl off. I don't like the edl at all - it hammers the car on tight corner exits.
