From what i've read i'm guessing that they are Bosch stock, and people modify them to hitachi for use in our cars?
At what stage would you use them, or have to use them? Stage 2, stage 3-, stage 3, etc...
My understanding is that it is only the housing that is bigger and the sensor itself is the same, or is the sensor calibrated for larger injectors too?
TIA

So the original RS4 MAF is a Bosch and will plug into out harnesses, then why does piggie aka vast sell it with a hitachi conversion?
I have also read about other people having to change to hitachi and/ or chage their wiring...
Duh yes I am a noob, so be gentle with the flaming :-D

People change to Hitachi because some tuners only write code for an ecu that uses a Hitachi maf. Other folks switch to boxes that use a Hitachi maf solely for reliability's sake.
