After getting the APR 100 octane program, I finally got 100 octane unleaded gas and I want to use it.
Do I need to flush the empty gas tank which use to hold 93 octane with 100 octane first or can I just add 100 octane gas into the tank once the tank is empty?
I paid $5 per gallon, are there any place from where I can get this gas for cheaper near Boston?
Thanks, your help is deeply appreciated.

I usually drive about 15 miles after I hit 0. My fuel pump doesn't love me, but hey :-). I usually drive 5 or 10 miles to get any 93 out of the lines and for the gas to mix before I switch to the 100 octane program.

That might be the difference. What brand fuel do you run also...there is a difference between fuel brands as well. I've run 100, 101, 104 and 105 in my car. I do not like 100.....not sure how much pump gas was in my car when I ran it, ...but it ran funny. I like running a mix of pump and 104 or 105 to make sure I'm at 100.
