But the track conditions here suck and I have no interest of running it again. Besides I could never get myself to launch at 2400. The highest I've gone was 1200. I just couldnt do it to the poor car.

ics and at the end of a 1/4 mile run with the n20 i would see a temp drop of about 1-3 degrees in 80degree+ outside temps. On runs without it, my therm. would read 15-20 deg higher than when i started and creep up alittle from there on the drive back. Of course on the turn around drive back the temps would start to rise in either situation due to the fact you only cruise below 20 mph on the way back. but to me that was only more proof it accomplished what i wanted it to do and that was lower intake temps most efficiently in summer heat here. But you are correct that the two main components of N2O power increase is the chemical reaction of the liquid turning into a gas( which is the reason why the intake temps drop. The second is that N2O is three time more oxygen density than normal ambient air. The thing that attracted me the most is the charge cooling, which is a big reason alot of racers use it in super/turbocharging applications, because you will see even higher gains with less of a shot due to the drastic intake temp cooling
