Default 170% throttle angle at wot???

Just did some testing, car has felt a little off, converter was not locking up right, running rich, sluggish till 4000+RPM ect. well checking the converter lock up we notice the throttle angle display at wot was going to 170% and cruise it was around 70-100%. Yeah that would be my problem. Any one ever run into this? I am guessing tb replacement or the sensors on the gas pedal. I know the car uses two sensors on the tb and two on the pedal...or am I missing something else?

Default Are you sure that was not engine load?

There should be a block on the vag that allows you to see the throttle pedal and throttle plate %. On the A4 its block 054 just not sure if its the same block on the S4.

Default Re: Are you sure that was not engine load?

I was doing the driving, my buddy was using the 5051 (snaged it form my work for bit), we were looking at the torque converter lock up, and it also displays throttle angle and enrichemnt, and as we drove we noticed the throttle angle was all over the map, peaking at 170% at wot, and the enrichemnt was all out of wack. Then all the issues started to click, running rich, converter having trouble locking up, slight bogg till 4k rpm, ect.

Default Actually this is off the B6 it was cutting out without warning

between 4500 - 5500 rpm under full acceleration. The Factory guy took it apart to inspect -- they wound up replacing the car.
I just thought the X wiring was interesting.. I manufactured electronics and would have redesigned a part like that. Just my opinion..
AOA treated me very well actually.. Just the worry and concern and danger until I got the new. I thought it would be interesting to the B5 guys as I had one of the first back in 1999.. loved it. Happy whine !!;-)
