Default 19.5 hours of labor...at least that's what they charged.

Here's the breakdown:
Replace valve cover gaskets and tensioner gaskets to remedy oil leak.
$164 for parts $940 labor (10 hrs.)(50% goodwill discount = $82 parts $470 labor)

Replace cracked coolant bottle. Flush and fill.
$67 for parts $178 labor $4 disposal (2 hrs.)

Replace both motor mounts.
$277 parts $690 labor (7.5 hrs)

About $1766 all together.

Engine does seem to idle smoother, and shift better, so the motor mount may have been worse than I thought. Seems to be a weak point with Audi/VW as I have a DTS to take up some of the punishment, and the motor mounts still went. Not completely broken, but leaking.

Default you should tell service you will only pay resonable rates...

I only pay the going rate for service at a local shop they can take it or leave it. Even if your closest shop is far away it's worth the gamble IMO.$65-70 versus 90-120 for Audi service.

Default Coolant tank is a 30 minute job max,so if that is any indication for the rest of the work, I would

be concerned.

Default I agree.. my car is in the shop for waterpump & timing belt... they found problem with

the rear main seal today. $75/hr for labor. I think I'm getting screwed on time of repairs b/c they are charging me for the time to change the timing belt then on top they are charging the full time for changing the WP.. Maybe i'm just thinking differently but I think I'm getting shafted.

Default That's rediculous. I can't believe people would pay that. They should charge you 1hour or so on

top of the timing belt. Even then, that's a rip-off.
