Default 1st evar FATS result: 9.55 sec. MAF #'s and VAG codes inside for your diagnosis...(data intensive)

Based on my fault codes I posted yesterday, some of the experts here were predicting a bad MAF. Here are the codes again (I cleared them before the FATS runs, and these are the ones that were back on by the time I finished)

17536 - Fuel Trim: Bank 1 (Mult): System too Lean
P1128 - 35-00 - -
16805 - Warm Up Catalyst: Bank 1: Efficiency Below Threshold
P0421 - 35-00 - -
17538 - Fuel Trim: Bank 2 (Mult): System too Lean
P1130 - 35-00 - -

TIME RPM MAF

20.22 4200 105.83
20.84 4440 111.08
21.48 4640 115.08
22.13 4800 119.19
22.80 5000 123.69
23.47 5200 126.28
24.16 5360 127.06
24.86 5520 128.75
25.57 5720 130.69
26.29 5880 131.11
27.02 6040 131.69
27.76 6200 133.72
28.51 6320 135.31
29.27 6480 135.75

Note, I did two runs, this was the better one. Other one was 9.97.

(STFA coming up short; I'd appreciate if someone could post a link on how I'm supposed to graph this data)

Weight 3770, 55 degrees F, 92 oct, MTM A-box chip, RS4 IC's, tire radius 12.7

Once again, I await & appreciate your further expert analysis!

Unplug the MAF sensor and do another FATS test. $20 says it'll be quite a bit faster.

Default Bad MAF for sure. A stock S4 should be around 220-230 at sea level.

Chipped should be in the 250-280 range.

Damn, going to feel like a whole different car when you unplug and/or replace the MAF.

Default OK, I'll unplug the MAFand try it again tonight. Any recommendations on where to buy? Also...

as someone who plans on going Stage 3 "someday" (and has an X-1 intake box/ITG filter on order), is it a consideration to obtain an RS4 or other higher-flow MAF at this time? Or would that be incompatible with my current Stage 1 set-up?

Thanks again for the help!

Default RS4 MAF housing and/or sensor is not compatible with your current setup.

I believe you can buy refurbished S4 MAF sensors and housings for less than $100, but maybe that was only for S8/RS4 MAFs.
